As a Jr. Engineer i have some work as below,1)Check every drawing for Pattern and Tooling Feasibility2)Make 3D model as per Drawings from Design department3)Provide Rough Material's Drawings with added allowances to be machined on VMC Router Machine4)Make 3 axis Programs for the Parts to be manufacture.5)Check for troubles during machining and resolve them for correct part machining6)Check Pattern as per Pattern Drawing7)Guide and instruct workers for correct pattern Methoding, Finishing and Fitting. 8) Visit foundry to Check for Pattern conditions and make decisions if repairable or manufactur a new one. 9) Visit foundry for Die inspection for correct tooling verification before samples and check for casting dimensions during sample stage. 10) To maintain documents like Pattern register as per different valve types and class, Pattern inspection reports, Pattern repairing documents, pattern modification document, old scrapped pattern data. 11)Check for New development Patterns and do planning according to casting priority.12) Maintain daily work register and pattern shifting details. 13) follow up by emails and revert for any requirements from foundries or from any internal departments.

During this period i have done many activities related to New Product Development. It was a Sand Casting foundry. As i was posted in Product Development department i had some responsibilities as below related to my work,1) Check drawing and Inspect Pattern and take its Trials,2)Check at every stages during Sampling (Trials) of New Products (Castings) like, Check Mould, Check Pouring Parameters, Check Casting Visually for any Defects and decide the new methoding for solution, check Sample castings as per drawing and check its Machined parts for its Correct Dimensions as per drawings.3)Give task to Workers for Tool / Pattern Correction (if any).
