- Lead the Identity and Access Management (IAM) vertical in AFSS, defining the long-term strategy and roadmap for 7 foundational services that help provide secure and seamless access to internal resources for all employees (e.g.: laptops, websites, email etc.)- Collaborated with service teams at Amazon and our largest external partners (eg: Microsoft) to deliver enterprise-scale solutions like M365, Amazon Q, and Bedrock by enabling Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Attribute Based Access Controls (ABAC), e.g.: launching the M365 productivity at Amazon, and providing all Amazonians with access to Gen AI applications like Q and Bedrock- Launched the Identity Lifecycle Service (IdLS) to simplify how major acquisitions such as Whole Foods and Twitch integrate with Amazon’s existing IT infrastructure, enabling employee collaboration across organizational boundaries while also saving up to $5M in annual operational costs per customer and improving Amazon’s overall security posture- Created project status reports and monthly business reviews to communicate updates, customer requests, and prioritization decisions across AFSS and the larger Security leadership and align on overall organizational strategy

- Developed a strategy for AWS Lambda to enter new markets by analyzing the currently available solutions and identifying gaps in these offerings by conducting customer interviews and collecting pain points - Finalized the product feature set required to address the deficiencies identified in competitive offerings, along with creating a roadmap to deliver these features, by working with the AWS Lambda engineering team and Solution Architects - Identified initial opportunities worth >$80M in annual revenue for AWS Lambda by engaging with multiple customers across the different industries and creating interest in the proposed solutions along with establishing partnerships

InterStim Micro Neurostimulator- Designed the infrastructure for a mobile application used by patients and clinicians to control the InterStim Micro device (rechargeable implanted medical device used to control an overactive bladder that is 80% smaller in size than the previous version) leading to 3X improvement in measurable quality of life (QOL), evaluated using the International Consultation on Incontinence Modular Questionnaire.- Managed local and global teams in the development of multiple critical features of the application in an Agile environment. Led scrum planning/review meetings, designed dashboards to track project completion status, communicated with senior executives to make crucial project decisions, and resolved critical issues as they arose- Consolidated customer requirements, finalized product design and user stories, and established project timelines to ensure successful project completion in partnership with Systems Engineering, Human Factors, and Marketing- Collaborated cross functionally with the firmware and hardware teams to implement the security infrastructure and meet all regulatory requirements essential for patient safety and safeguarding sensitive medical information- Incorporated automated feature testing for the project, a Neuromodulation department first that drastically increased the number of tests that could be run and allowed greater product stability

Verify External Neurostimulator- Developed Medtronic's first mobile application in Neuromodulation. The application was used by clinicians to control the Medtronic Verify External Neurostimulator, which is used by clinicians to determine the feasibility of an implanted device (InterStim/InterStim Micro) as a viable therapy for a patient before proceeding with surgery. The data provided from this product helped increase adoption rate of the implant by ~14% YoY globally- Worked on the UI, the back-end functionality, and the sending and interpreting of commands to and from the device via Bluetooth.Synchromed II Drug Infusion System- Delivered the SynchroMed+ drug pump, which is an implanted, targeted drug delivery system that helps patients with chronic, intractable pain via targeted drug delivery, eliminating the need for systemic opiods for 84% of patients- Compiled project documentation to conform to FDA regulations and pass regulatory audits required for project approval, the templates for which were made standard protocol for the entire Neuromodulation division- Set up the testing server on Jenkins for tests to be run regularly by pulling the latest branch from GitHub

Helped establish SolarMobil, one of India's first college solar car teams, at Manipal University. Met with multiple companies to source the solar cells and sponsorship. Designed the connection between the solar array and the power grid to optimize efficiency.The team eventually went on to design multiple cars, including India's first passenger solar car, along with winning multiple innovation awards and being featured in various publications such as BBC Auto, The Times of India, and more.
