The charter of ACL will be to explore state-of-the-art technologie in high performance computing to advance the AI + HPC + Cloud solutions that are leveraged in KLA’s products to identify defects in the semi-conductor manufacturing. The scope of the technologies includes new HW architectures, accelerators, compiler stacks, and SW with a focus on image processing, and AI technologies including Machine Learning and Deep Learning. ACL will extend KLA's presence in Chennai with its office in IIT Madras Research Park.
