Preparation of sample set (suiting designing) for summer & winter seasons

• To prepare sample sets for Spring Summer & Autumn Winter seasons for suits, jackets & trousers for Park Avenue & Manzoni menswear Brands.• To get developed more & more new fabrics in terms of feel, finish,construction,yarn,blend etc.according to their end uses.• To cater to all types of customers in terms of various styles/price range/products/accessories etc.• To have close interaction with Production Planning,Pattern Making,Sales & Marketing,Cutting,Stitching,Pressing deptts.• To arrange garments manufacture in 100% Wool,various blends of Poly Wool,Poly Modal,Poly Viscose,Silk & Linen blends ,100% Polyester etc. using a wide range of natural & man made fibres.

• To function as Designing Chief with 15 designers & 55 workers of Designing Department involved in planning and designing in six months advance i.e. summer & winter seasons.• Responsible for shade matching in dyeing ,ensuring first piece finish checking in folding with daily average of 40,000mts. comprising of the bulk being pure wool,various blends of poly wool(Top dyed & piece dyed), PV fibre dyed,PV piece dyed & other silk & linen blends for domestic,export,institutional and exclusive markets.• To prepare full sample sets of new designs in hangers for each season, to present whole sample set for next six months before All India agents to seek their opinion and then to present the set for booking.• To have market visits to study our products’ performance and to see what is going on in the market.Interaction with the agents is at least eight times a year.• To keep close interaction with all production departments right from production planning,dyeing,spinning,weaving to finishing,folding & ware house and sales & marketing.
