Associate Vice President (Engineering Manager)
Current• Managing the maintenance of program modules including operational support, problem resolution, production support, preventive & corrective maintenance and enhancements; reviewing functional specifications• Assisting in determining operational feasibility through analysis, problem definition, requirement analysis, and proposing solutions• Creating & managing the estimates, project plan, project schedule, resource allocation and expenses to ensure that targets are reached• Maintaining large and complex projects or multiple components of a large project involving more than one company’s product• Conducting troubleshooting & testing; maintaining the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality• Administering overall delivery for the product / application - ensuring high quality of code and adherence to committed timelines • Transforming cooperation and communication between departments, from a reactive approach to a proactive one that spanned all teams skilled the full product value chain • Instilling best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work managing the schedules; providing technical/coding direction and guidance on complex logic, being hands-on with technical design & development• Working with the Technology Leads & Application Architects for the safety and soundness of the assigned applications work on delivering Proof of Concepts, generate ideas for Continuous Process Improvements • Heading project operations with key focus on defining Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) as well as interacting with prestigious clients, business partners, industry leaders, vendors & other key stakeholders• Analyzing complex functional & non-functional requirements, making appropriate design adjustments, providing effort estimates to support project management
