Founding team of Tidal Flight. We are developing a 9-12 passenger hybrid-electric seaplane for commuter and regional travel.

- Implementing finite-state dynamic inflow models for eVTOL applications- Creating a comprehensive 6DOF SIMULINK model and framework for detailed dynamic trade studiesAdvisor: Dr. Brian German

- Worked extensively with a full vehicle 6DOF SIMULINK model to conduct trade studies and size critical aircraft components- Conducted detailed mission performance evaluations- Developed constraint (loads, VRS etc.) mapping methodology for transitioning between hover and forward flight- Implemented constraint mapping methodology in pilot in the loop simulations to identify and quantify key sizing criteria to other engineers- Worked with flight and component test data to validate and improve key flight sciences models including the 6DOF model

--working with an OpenMDAO framework to model and size an eVTOL concept aircraft-- currently developing 3-DOF and 6-DOF models within the OpenMDAO framework to trim eVTOL aircraft during the transition from vertical to forward flight-- sized and provided power requirements for a 3000 lb electric quadcopter conducting a medevac mission-- developed a blade element momentum theory code to analyze rotor performance-- conducted trades for an electric propulsion system (inverter, motor, and battery) for a propeller test rig

Assisting with the aerospace thermodynamics class by teaching a recitation, creating problem sets and holding office hours.

Running LES and DNS simulations for stratified turbulent channel flow using a two-level simulation code developed at the Computational Combustion Laboratory.

Analyzing the feasibility of near term urban air mobility solutions through multidisciplinary optimization of STOL vehicles. Developed an in-house panel code, worked on predicting landing performance for STOL vehicles, and created CFD grids using Pointwise.

Using SysML and Magic Draw to conduct Model-Based Systems Engineering on a mock Apollo 11 mission.

Conducted CFD analysis on the NACA 23012 and verified results with empirical wind tunnel results.
