Hi! My name is Prarthana Prashanth and I am an M1 at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Medicine in the Clinical Executive in Medicine scholarly concentration. I recently graduated from UIC with a major Math and Computer Science and a minor in Biology. I look forward to both serving patients and getting involved in hospital leadership, improving the patient and provider healthcare experience. Currently, I enjoy conducting research at the Coloff Lab at the UIC, studying the impact of different metabolites on cancer cell survival. I also run a free volunteer-based program called OneInMath - while I began with just 5 students, today the program operates in 12 libraries nationwide and has given over 10000 hours of service to the community. In my free time, I am a Company Dancer at Natya Dance Theatre, and love sharing the art form of Bharatanatyam with my community. I would love to talk more with you, feel free to send me a message!
