Managed both Home & Living & Home & Building entities in Vinod Patel Co Ltd in terms of Inventory, Logistics and Commercial & Warehouse departments. • Handled a Total Inventory of FJD 35 million while keeping the inventory level under budgeted values while minimizing the Out of Stock situation for Key Products for VPCL trading Ltd. • Inventory Accuracy was improved by 33% where previously stock take write-offs were around 1.5% per annum and was improved to less than 1% write-off value also managed to introduce write off value in to business score cards where people made more accountable for inventory. • Tenders were implemented for commercial department where it streamlined shipments with selected service providers. This enabled to reduce shipment cost by 22% and also introduced fixed term local costs for clearing agents. • Bonded warehouse stock accuracy was maintained at 100% during my supervision without a single incident or inquiry from authorities. • Handled 4 Ware Houses and Logistics for VPCL while planned and managed new Warehouse shift for VPCL. Both entity warehouses were moved to the newly built distribution centre successfully under my supervision in 2 stages.• Logistics arrangement are being monitored and improved to align the requirements between warehouses and branches. • Overlooking and negotiating the Bio Security, Customs & FRCA Matters on behalf of the company to ensure operations were carried out without interruptions. • Guided the Inventory, Commercial, Purchasing, Warehouse & logistic, forecasting team members in new ERP system to facilitate the needed training and testing. • All monthly reports related to inventory, purchasing, warehousing and commercial departments were reviewed and finalised before publishing and also represented monthly management meeting for supply chain team. Also facilitated management data requirement and reports on requested.
