• I actively promoted and sold Emerson’s Rosemount pressure, level, flow, temperature transmitters, tank gauging solutions, Wireless solutions, Micromotion flowmeters, Fisher control valves and Ovation DCS in Sri Lanka.• I was in charge of selection and sizing of instruments as per the process requirements.• Actively involved in business development activities. • I worked very closely with the Oil&Gas, Power and Water sectors in Sri Lanka that demanded customized solutions for their process challenges.

Responsible for marketing and sales of Emerson field instruments in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. • Develop and Maintain good relationship with the end users and contractors.• Preparation of offers for tenders, techno-commercial quotations.• Organise technical presentations for the customers as a promotional activity.• Tracking upcoming projects/business and meeting the people involved in various levels at organisations.• Carry out market and competitor analysis and order lost analysis.• Conduct site surveys at the plants, make appropriate instrument technology selection and preparation of instrument datasheets, sizing calculations for flow elements and performance calculations of instruments and offers.• Attending meetings for the execution of projects and coordinate with various project managers and engineers to ensure successful and timely completion of projects concerning Rosemount transmitters.• Mediate or directly offer site service support in the form of commissioning and configuration of guided wave radars(GWR) and non-contact type radars, level transmitters, DP transmitters and flow transmitters. Have hands on exposure to the aforesaid field instruments.

• Work closely with the design engineers and automation engineers of the end users and offer consultative technical assistance with respect to industrial instruments.• Offer site service support in the form of commissioning, configuration and troubleshooting of field instruments.• Conduct site surveys at the plants, make appropriate instrument technology selection based on the requirements and supervise the installations of the instruments at the sites and perform loop tests, functional tests and ensure connectivity with DCS.• Development of instrument datasheets, sizing calculations for flow elements/ control valve and performance calculations of instruments.• Organizing technical presentations for the customers and educate them about the instruments and solutions.• Provide on-site training and demonstrations to customers. Offer technical support to project execution team by attending meetings for the execution of big projects and coordinate with various project personnel and engineers to ensure successful and timely completion of projects.• Work closely with the sales and marketing team and assist is preparing techno-commercial tenders and contract management.
