In my present capacity, I am accountable for spearheading the organization's processes and all supply chain functions management, including purchasing, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, material forecasting, capacity planning and sourcing, master scheduling, inventory control, and financial costing. I also look after the imports of 100 containers every year with Hi-sea sales and bonding process.During my association, I conduct business development activities, including studying upcoming projects and promoting company business, visiting potential clients and strategic alliances. I also supervise the 3 PL service providers with a 20,000 sq ft warehouse, including managing sales/marketing support and operations.

VWR International is an American company involved in the distribution of research laboratory products, with over 1,200,000 items to more than 250,000 customers in North America and Europe. As Project Manager – Sourcing, I played a stellar role in procuring products from SEA for the Indian market. I supervised supplier selection, contract negotiations, and conflict resolution with international and domestic vendors.During my association, I performed diversified product sourcing from South East Asia countries (Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan & Thailand etc.) to North America and Europe. I also handled the procurement functions of different product categories, i.e. Plastic ware, Liquid handling, PPE, Consumables, Filtration, Instrument & Equipment and Science education verticals.Furthermore, I worked with the freight forwarder for import/export across operations and Vendor development plans to bring SEA vendors to Global Standard.
