• Scaled up the payroll team from to 3 scrum teams in Bangalore and expanding the ownership areas in Payroll from Core product to Integrations, Time applications and Operations tools.• I lead the team for revamping the onboarding and implementation of customers onto Zenefits Payroll. • Engaged with multiple Product managers and other stakeholders across our remote offices and collaborated successfully on various deliverables.• Lead several focused initiatives on reducing customer issues (60 - 80%) and Performance improvements. Tracking the right metrics to measure the results.

• Designed and developed a robust calculation engine for supporting Garnishments in Zenefits payroll. Garnishments are governed by US Federal and State laws and the rules are fairly complex. I lead the team right from planning, to design and implementation and successfully delivered this time-sensitive project.• Designed a generic framework for Exporting 401(k) data in reports (XLS/CSV). The generic reports helped the Admin easily access employees 401(k) retirement contributions and exchange it with third party systems. Increased adoption by 20% of customers in first quarter after roll out.• I also lead the PayConnect team that was responsible for managing automated sync between Zenefits systems and third-party payroll (US) used by customers.

• Lead the cloud-extender platform team that owned the integration of MaaS360 platform with customer’s on-prem environment (Active Directory/LDAP, Exchange and Certificate servers). The platform served more than 3000 customers with over 60K in users and devices.• Designed and developed cloud-to-cloud integration with Azure AD using Microsoft Graph APIs. This enabled device enrollment and device management for MaaS360 customers using Azure AD. The new integration was rolled out to more than 200 customers beta in the first 3 months. This featured in Gartner’s report for MaaS360 cloud integration capabilities.• Lead the team on performance tuning of ejabberd (XMPP chat-server) that provided synchronous and real-time communication between platform and 3000 CE agents. We identified the key parameters affecting the stability of cluster and enhanced the performance of the ejabberd server to handle twice the load.• I managed a major platform wide release coordinating the release process with Infra, Ops, Customer support and QA team. I was recognized and awarded for a well-managed and smooth release in Production.

• Key member of the team that developed the platform for processing all trades and transaction flowing from front-office and providing APIs for consuming trades and position data to all back-office applications. The system was capable of processing over 150K per upload in trade volume.• I was responsible for design and development of Corporate Actions (Merger & Acquisitions, Stock splits etc.). The automated processing of these transactions reduced the manual effort on Operations team by 90% and ensured accurate portfolio position for start-of-day trading.• I was involved in design and development of a generic Filter framework to provide a concise, consistent and easy-to-use configuration for querying Transaction and Position data using platform APIs.• Implemented test-suite for transaction services and APIs which increased the code coverage by 22%• Developed scripts for automated deployment of apps to Production/UAT/QA environments.
