Born on 31 December 1979, in a beautiful city Silchar which is located in eastern part of Guwahati (Assam).Post-graduated in polymer chemistry from Tezpur University (Assam) followed by Post graduate diploma in Intellectual property rights and MBA-(Marketing) from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He is also a Registered Indian Patent Prosecutor.• His professional carrier started way back in 2003 with total of 18+ years of experience in the area of IPR and R&D with reputed IP Company, Industry and Research Institutes of National importance.• He was associated with IP company based in Hyderabad for a couple of years and worked as a Team Lead for carrying out IP services for fortune 500 companies on IP filings, Patent Prosecution, Patentability assessment, Patent invalidation, Patent Landscaping, white space analysis, Prior art search, Novelty, Freedom to operate, Patent Mapping, Technology forecasting, Inventor tracking, Patent strength analysis, Patent alert, Patent drafting, Patent Citation Analysis, competitive Intelligence, Claim Charting. His IP services and support helped client to identify the licensing opportunity and collaboration, exploring innovative applications and opportunity areas for current technologies, develop technology road maps and strategize the R&D projects as per the market demands.• IP portfolio management, technology transfer and R&D project management are another area’s where he had worked with CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre (SERC) as IP coordinator ,Chennai. During his stint in CSIR-SERC, He was closely associated and assisted in technology transfer of three important technologies “EPS panel” “Base Isolator” and “Textile Reinforced Concrete Prototyping Technology (TRCPT)”of CSIR-SERC.• Prior Joining to CSIR, He had 10 years of R&D experience with Syngene International,(Subsidiary of Biocon Ltd), CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratory, NAL-Tech Pvt Ltd and Bharavi Laboratories (p) Ltd in various capacities. During this period, He had the opportunity to carry out research in the areas of synthesis of drug intermediates, cross-linked porous polymer for solid phase peptide synthesis and was closely associated with R&D and plant operation of high grade temperature resistance CARBON fiber for aerospace application. • He is also the recipient of CSIR-Diamond Jubilee Research Intern Award (2004) and Best performance Award in Management Service (2019) in CSIR-IICT.Invited Talk Delivered in CSIR-NIIST, Trivandrum on "Patent drafting and Practices" 14th -15th September 2022.
