I am working with Future Value Retail Ltd. In its retail format “Big Bazaar” as an Assistant Store Manager in Fun n Shop mall in Pune, since October 2006. It is a retail mall consisting of 36200 sq. ft. Area. I have been handling Food, Apparels, General Merchandise-Home, Electronics, Furniture, Toys & Sports, Luggage and Footwear section of the said store.Team Size: 105 (94 TM/TL and 11 Managers). Sales Volume: 60-80 lakhs per week. Core Responsibility* Responsible for P&L of the store.* Attaining the Top line target set by the company & ensuring profitability of the store.* Ensuring operational parameters like conversions, ticket size and APPB are within company specified norms.* Shrinkage control.* Responding to customer complaints and comments and ensures their satisfaction with the product and service.* Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met and resolving health and safety, legal and security issues.

I was working with Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd., a Times Retail wing (Planet M) from October 14, 2002 to October 22, 2006 as Senior officer (Finance).It is a music retail store. Area size 3300 sq. feet (main store), Team size: 11. Other 4 store are of 500 to 1000 sq. ft. area and consists of 5-7 staffs. Sales volume: 15-45 lakhs per month. Core Responsibility* Cash Management, Accounting, Auditing and Finance* Merchandising and sale of Music CDs, Apparels, Multimedia, Audi, Video Accessories. * New music release and coordinating Star Event.* Additional responsibility of handling customer loyalty programme.* Constant interaction with record companies, distributors and vendors.
