Suzlon Installed and Commissioned India's Tallest Hybrid Concrete Tubular Tower. The 140m HCT tower is a combination of concrete base and foundation supporting a tubular steel tower which enables higher hub height while avoiding exponential increase in the weight and cost of an all steel tubular tower. I was member of the team and Headed the Quality in 'Concrete Tower Business'. I was actively involved in:-Key role in set up of Quality Management System (QMS) and Supplier Quality Management (SQM).-Prepare policies for Quality Control.-Monitor day to day operations involved in installation of concrete tower.-Apply proto learnings and update drawings accordingly.

Suzlon has extensive experience in erecting and commissioning wind turbine projects. These installations are carried out under extreme climatic conditions and difficult terrains. I have evolved my managerial skills in the PROJECT ENGINEERING function where in i was involved in the execution of installation of wind turbine generators. High Strength Concrete, GGBS mixes, SDC.• Active role in Finalization of Concrete Mixes for regional area, Development of mix recipes as per client specifications, Modifications to mix design and development of raw material vendors.• Responsible for compliance of RMCMA requirements.• Monitoring of QA / QC activities for concrete mainly focused at testing of all concrete making ingredients (aggregates, water, and admixture) for the RMC Plants and conduct quality checks and lab trials in the cluster. • Meet architects and consultants to understand customer requirements and manage escalated customer complaints in quality.Apart from these roles and responsibilities voluntarily conducted training's for subordinate staffs and prepared training modules.

My role was as below:Cement Business unit (Techno Commercial role):• Providing Concrete Mix Designs, Cube testing facility, assistance in doing mass concreting.• Spread awareness on concrete and its characteristics among contractors and consumers with help of ‘Mobile Concrete Testing Lab’.Ready Mix Concrete unit:• Evaluation and monitoring concrete performance through LabSys software modules. • Development on concrete mix designs using handy raw materials available.• Monitoring incoming raw material for quality checks and routine production activites.Apart from the technical relevance of my role i actively was involved in solving the customers queries and thereby maintaining customer satisfaction.
