Current• Supervising an Expert Team of 4 Engineers and 5 Technicians to manage PTC (Pune Technical Center) Industrial Engineering (AME) Department• Ensuring continuous process improvement, process optimization and automation across manufacturing systems.• Ensuring the implementation of ECN, PCN, Lean Manufacturing systems, PDP, SOP, Line Designing & Line setup, Line balancing, Value Stream Mapping, Time/Motion Study, DFM (Design for Manufacturing ability), Line handover, Pre-planning, Labour… Show more • Supervising an Expert Team of 4 Engineers and 5 Technicians to manage PTC (Pune Technical Center) Industrial Engineering (AME) Department• Ensuring continuous process improvement, process optimization and automation across manufacturing systems.• Ensuring the implementation of ECN, PCN, Lean Manufacturing systems, PDP, SOP, Line Designing & Line setup, Line balancing, Value Stream Mapping, Time/Motion Study, DFM (Design for Manufacturing ability), Line handover, Pre-planning, Labour Efficiency (LE), Learning Curve (Ramp-up), MSD (Manufacturing System Design), Capacity Planning, Kaizen, Poke-Yoke, ECF etc.• Developing suppliers and localization such as infra, fabrication, tooling, jigs, fixtures, SPM, testing parts & machinery.• Administering PFMEA, process matrix, process change and release; monitoring CAPEX, KPI and risk management• Executing product design, development, validation, tear down, testing and inspections• Performing vehicle 3D based electrical routing, electrification and child part level feasibility.• Coordinating APQP, gates wise PDCA, TS16949, program tracker ownership, escalations & de-escalations• Directing process automation, project operations, targets based on time and cost constraints• Steering root cause analysis, corrective actions, 5Y, Ishikawa & Pareto• Managing project tooling design and development and conducting mistake proofing, kaizens, TQM, lean manufacturing, value stream mapping and audits• Leading terminal, applicator, die design & validation activity as per customer requirements or as per Delphi standard• Meeting timeline for terminal designing & validation as per customer requirement• Implementing desired changes in tooling or validation as per customer feedback and developing the same to re-design the task• Ensuring all machines & applicators are working according to their Process Capability for applicators (PPK & CPK) & Machine Capability – for machines (CMK) Show less
