I worked in the Promote & Animate team, that owned all the temporary mechanisms on the website (promotions, commercial operations, advertisements)- Worked with Legal team and other stakeholders to identify and deliver changes to be made to our advertising assets to comply with Digital Services Act in Europe- Identified, developed and prioritised initiatives to increase our onsite advertising revenue from brands (better ROI formats, leaner trade marketing process etc.)- A/B tested and launched multiple features and improved versions aimed at increasing advertising revenues and improving conversion rate in collaboration with Design and Engineering

I was part of the Event Platform team, responsible for ingesting, processing and storing all types of events- Worked on the query experience in the event search bar by developing a smarter autocomplete- Came up with a plan to ingest and handle events that arrive late- Studied an adjacent market to identify entry opportunities, and presented the recommendations to leadership

I was part of the Smart Devices team where the goal was to build a measurement system for viewership on OTT platforms like Prime and Netflix- Designed, built and automated the creation of a reference library of more than 100,000 hours of audio across multiple OTT platforms for our in-house matching systems - Helped build a standard of measurement for viewership on OTT platforms by tracking metrics such as Device Viewership, Duration of Viewership and number of Active Users- Set up an ETL pipeline for the viewership data for querying and sharing- Wrote APIs to scrape content data from the OTT platforms and built a pipeline to continuously ingest and add the content to our reference library- Mentored a junior developer in programming methodologies and non technical aspects of the job

As a part of the Advertising Engineering team,- Implemented new ways to target advertisements to people through our in house ad server and helped revamp the advertiser console, a console used to create and manage digital ads by the Ad Ops team- Implemented a Campaign Goal Optimisation service which automatically optimised the Click Through Rates (CTR) and View Through Rates (VTR) of digital ads, avoiding the need for manual intervention and thus saving the time of the Ad Ops team- Designed and built several other smaller services from scratch

Pursued a 6 month internship during the last (8th) semester of EngineeringAs an intern in the Advertising Engineering team, - Built a dashboard to show the segmentation of target audience that can be reached through a TV advertisement with slicing and dicing across various parameters such as broadcaster, demographics etc.- Implemented fixes for several bugs which used to crop up repeatedly
