Prior to that, he worked in model validation at Credit Suisse.He is a PhD Graduate in Macroeconomics and Central Banking from IGIDR, Mumbai, under the supervision of Prof. Ashima Goyal, former Monetary Policy Committee member, Reserve Bank of India, former member - PM Economic Advisory Council. He has worked on the empirical analysis of the expectations channel of monetary policy transmission in India, using survey-based datasets. He is acquainted with a broad range of economic issues, especially in emerging markets. He has conducted research on the recent advances in empirical macroeconomics, monetary policy, and central banking with a stronghold over statistical toolboxes and softwares. His areas of interest include empirical macroeconomics, dynamic macroeconomic modeling and machine learning.
