Description: I empirically examine the evidence of expectations channel of monetary policy transmission in India using survey-based datasets measuring inflation expectations of households and professional forecasters, and suggest policy implications to strengthen the transmission process especially during the flexible inflation targeting (FIT) regime in India – using time-series econometric tools (SVAR, Historical Decomporition, Scenario Analysis, Sign-restricted VAR, GMM-IV), limited dependent variable analysis (Ordered Logit Model), machine learning algorithms (text-analytics), and epidemiological models.Over the course of PhD, I got out five publications (4 journal articles and 1 book chapter), which constitute a part of my PhD.
