Second In Command 47RA Workshop. 47th Regiment Royal Artillery is the Army’s only Regiment able to fly the Watchkeeper TUAS to find information at long ranges. As Second in Command of the workshop I plan and execute training serials to ensure operational deployability for 120 personnel. I ensure the workshop maintains the wide array of equipment from across the Regiment, this also includes the Watchkeeper TUAS.

Forward Repair Group (FRG) Troop Commander at Commando Logistics Regiment. In this role I managed the careers of 30 Royal Marines whilst also making sure 3 Commando Brigades Fleet stayed fully operational. During my time in this role I conducted a restructure of the Troop to fit into the new employment model of the Royal Marines. In Sept 2021 I was selected to command the Royal Marines vanguard CSS Troop of 45 personnel. During my time in this role I set up the new commanding hierarchy of the Troop and briefed senior officers of the new structure in which I decided on. I deployed with the newly formed Troop to the USA and the Artic Circle in Norway, which brought a significant amount of risks which I had to manage. Before moving onto a new posting I wrote several formal documents for the next iteration of Commanders so that they would have the depth of knowledge to be able to command such a newly formed Troop. Successfully completed the All Arms Commando Course 2/20.

Following the commissioning course it is mandatory for all Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to undertake the Military Systems Engineering Course (Land) at MOD Lyneham. This challenging 18 week in-depth course gives young officers a basic understanding of REME soldiers and good military engineering practice to allow them to command technical soldiers both on operations and in barracks. The course culminates a team project finding potential solutions for limitations found on the Army’s Vehicles and Equipment

44 Weeks of training broken down into three 14 week terms with a week of AT in between two terms. Term one - Focuses on basic military skills, fitness and decision making. Term two - Continues the development of leadership skills and has a major academic component.
