• Responsible for taking customers' requests for quotations (RFQ) from various different sources (Shipserv, Client portal, Email, etc.) and uploading or keying them into the ERP system.• Mapping and coding of products included in clients' quotations to company master data.• Sending and receiving requests for quotations to suppliers for price inquiries of ‘Just in Time’ products.• Monitor and record the number of items and quotations completed on a daily basis for reporting to the Key Account Officer.• Add prices to the quotations when the item mapped is available in stock and/or a price is available in the ERP system.

• Receive and study requisitions received from the vessel.• Send Request for Quotations to prospective vendors for the given port.• Receive and analyse the quotations received, raise queries if/where necessary, negotiate, and subsequently prepare a price compactor.• Minimized customer complaints by verifying that procured items met required quality standards.• Reviewed and renegotiated key contracts to maintain cost-effectiveness.
