The company has tie-ups with hotels across India, providing travel solutions exclusively for corporates. Here I was responsible for handling day to day operations also to plan, direct, coordinate and collaborate with team members. It was an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and rapidly growing industry. During this internship, I did a research project on the wellness retreat industry. My primary responsibility was to conduct extensive secondary and primary market research (by calling these establishments) and draw insights from structured data on emerging trends, market sizes, short term/tactical challenges and industry drivers in the space of luxury holistic health and wellness destinations. This involved analyzing various segments of the market, identifying key growth factors, and understanding the competitive landscape by customer behaviour & segmentation. As I went on with my work, it provided valuable insights into consumer behavior and market dynamics of wellness retreats market worldwide, which were instrumental in for the company to decide on investing in this market.This internship not only allowed me to enhance my research and analytical skills but also gave me a profound understanding of the wellness industry. By leveraging various data sources and analytical tools, I was able to uncover future trends and opportunities in the market. This knowledge will enable me to provide consulting to new players to help shape their strategy. This job helped me get excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, MS Office (Excel and Powerpoint) skills, design thinking skills, adaptability, professionalism and do the work with at most attention to details.
