Primary Responsibilities:•Responsible for completion of all civil construction and setting up Plant & Machinery, which suits for the Production of different products of Locomotives (Loco Transformer, Traction Motor, Rectifier, Smoothing Reactor, Alternators, Contractor Panel, Reverser Switch, Line Contractor, Electro Magnetic Contactor, Shunting Contactor, Dynamic Braking Resistor etc.)•Responsible for Customer support. Since we were supplying sophisticate items to our customer Indian Railways, I was responsible to arrange training to make them familiar to our products. Whenever I was contacted by our customer / take feed back by visiting customer site regarding any complain / their requirements of our products, I was responsible to take prompt action & arrange to rectify/meet their requirements. I was also responsible to send complain/customer requirements analysis report to product engineer/R & D section for further improvement/Development of products.•Responsible for liasoning with Government Departments and authorised to sign documents on behalf of the company. I was also authorised to sign invoices and cheques of the company. •Responsible for liasoning with customer regarding Inspection, despatches, tenders and payments. •Responsible for planning and execution of Production target, Budgeting and Project Estimation and Despatches. •Responsible for looking after different aspects of manufacturing i.e. Production, Manpower planning, Material sourcing and development of new vendor.•Actively involved in ISO 9001: 2000 certifications.International Experience:Got three weeks training at Germany, during Technology transfer about coaches from Linka Hoffmann Busch (now Alsthom, Germany) to Indian Railways.
