 Complete responsibilities of the Social compliance division in India. Forming and managing the audit team in India, China and any upcoming operating areas (auditors, back end/support team),and executing the audits Generating new business, by introducing Accordia/URS to various Buyers/Buying Agents/Govt. Agencies. Developing Training Materials for various schemes for auditors (including :SEDEX,ETI CODES(SMETA),WRAP,COC,CTPAT. Etc.)  Training the new team members on Auditing, reporting, reviewing etc.(Based on: ETI(SMETA),SEDEX, WRAP,CTPA,COC,FLA CODES etc.) Finding new clients and Maintaining relationship with existing clients Exploring new business prospective and areas. To ensure timely execution of audits and release of reports. Responsible to ensure smooth and flawless operation of the department. Organizing various seminars and trainings in association with brands and organizations like WRAP…by inviting officials from govt. statutory bodies to impart direct knowledge from them to suppliers of the partner brand. Arranging for vendor awareness programs for buyers in order to enhance their awareness about various aspects of ETI, SEDEX , SMETA and use of SEDEX.

 Auditing, the supplier’s/vendor’s manufacturing units world over (around 15 countries) To train new auditors in all overseas offices. Regions covered ( audit conducted): Asia (Indian subcontinent, Thailand, China), Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi), Middle east ( Dubai, Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt). Monitor supplier improvement programmes through realistic Corrective Action Plans. Draw attention to the other relevant personnel, Director, situations where suppliers fail to engage and deliver improvements.  To make sure that the suppliers are compliant to local government’s rules, Free of any non-compliance to S& B code of ethics. To conduct follow-up audits as per standard.  Implementation of S & B Code of Ethics in the supply chain. Develop supplier performance rating based on their annual performance. Moto: To help S & B protect it’s brand image in the market. Initiate remediation plans with the vendors/suppliers, if cases like Child labour issues, working hour issues etc are noticed, and making sure that the vendors complete these corrective actions. Monitoring 3rd party audit reports, review and make sure that suppler works on those NCs, and take necessary corrective actions. Conduct training for suppliers, on various social compliance aspects and updates on govt. regulations.  Maintain records for active suppliers, and order status (based on ratings).
