I am a goal driven individual and believe in smart work combined with hard work.I am working as part of the encounters team at Aetna in capacity of Sr Informatics Analyst. My previous software experience as well as the learning and experience at SUNY Buffalo has assisted me to be successful in this role. My work involves strict coherence with the HIPAA guidelines and compliance of various state specific and CMS requirements. It includes development, implementation and improvement of processes and reporting(both recurrent and ad-hoc) in order to optimize different business metrics such as efficiency, accuracy and timeliness.My experience in software development and analysis has helped me hone the analytical, technical and leadership skills. Working independently and in team in various projects has improved my communication skills and team management. I worked closely with the onshore team business analyst and subject matter experts in the Insurance and Telecommunication domains and was offshore business analyst for my team. We used data analytics tools such as SAS and Tableau to help analyze and control losses for telecom companies due to various customer issues and complaints; modeled and visualized the dashboards to analyze and learn from the real time trends. During my Masters in MIS from School of Management, State University of New York at Buffalo, I took courses such as Data warehousing and Big Data that helped me enhance my knowledge and skills in data analysis. Systems Analysis and Design, Management of IT projects and Enterprise Modelling have helped me better understand the business side of the industry and the efforts that I can put into the same.
