Responsible for maintaining and repairing both the physical structure of the building and adjacent grounds with over 1,500,000 sq. ft. of floor space, as well as responding to guests’ needs in a consistently approachable and professional manner, for a split-capacity hotel with 156 luxury condominiums and 195 guest rooms. • Perform room repairs as needed, including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, furniture construction and rearrangement, lighting, televisions, routers and other electronic devices• Perform routine maintenance such as painting, carpet/floor cleaning, caulking, etc. so as to maintain company standards for quality, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, safety and security• Assist both hotel guests & long-term residents with day to day needs, and respond to requests in a manner that does not disturb guests• Maintain adherence to all building regulations and fire codes by regularly reviewing policies and safety procedures• Ensure that any tests and inspections required by are carried out as needed, and that all records and documentation associated with such tests are correctly kept • Closely monitor the condition of the physical property and equipment by conducting continual inspections of the building.• Ensure that preventative maintenance schedules are in operation • Respond quickly and effectively to resolve emergency and weather related issues, e.g. power outages, snow removal, rain management, etc.
