• Collaborates with a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist and Psychiatrist in developing recommended treatment plans, and provides case management services to include ensuring that treatment plans are carried out by the client.• Specialized experience in working in a medical clinic conducting front desk operations with exceptional customer service in greeting patients in person and telephonically.• Interviews clients to provide information about the Family Advocacy Program, Behavioral Health Services and treatment processes.• Maintain all patient records, both electronic or hardcopy, ensuring each entry contains proper patient and health care provider identification.• Reviews and process incoming and outgoing correspondence, materials, publications, regulations, and directives pertaining to the Mental Health Department.• Maintains close coordination with the Soldier’s unit and monitors treatment participation progress with designated treatment providers.• Read and interpret the referring consults, doctors' notes and/or drug treatment protocol in order to select and schedule the appropriate tests.• Serves as a liaison for the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) to Child Protective Serves (CPS), Community and State Agencies, Family Support Centers, and Counselors in order to meet the needs of consumers.• Resolve problems through discussion with patients voicing a complaint.• Reports all suspected child and adult abuse allegations to appropriate military and/or civilian law enforcement agencies.• Provides initial counseling services to clients explaining Program Services, requirements, policies and procedures.• Enter, manipulate, and/or retrieve information and data from automated systems, as appropriate to the area assigned.• Participates in in-service training programs and attends professional development and staff meetings.• Worked under the administrative and clinical supervision of an Army Family Advocacy Program Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
