An enthusiastic academic with a burning desire to make affordable healthcare a reality for individuals globally by bridging the gap between hardware and software technologies using interpretable and explainable AI, and functional mathematical representations. Passionate about medical image analysis algorithm development (especially MRI), explainable AI (XAI), signal/data representation and analysis using tensors (multiway arrays) and low dimensional representation of high dimensional data with applied mathematical tools. A firm believer of reproducible, explainable and interpretable research. Besides academia, I enjoy playing both the rhythm and bass guitar, tennis, and hiking outdoors.Previously employed at GE Healthcare (Bangalore,India) as an Edison Systems Engineer. Completed an MS in Biomedical Engineering from UVA in 2020. Currently a PhD student with an aim of graduating with a PhD by 2025.
