Architect, Landscape Architect, Urban Designer by profession, I am a designer and a land artist involved with projects of diverse scale from graffiti walls to ecological restoration. I am currently working and managing my own practice READING GROUNDS in Bangalore along with a partner. Its a Landscape, Urban design and Architecture consultancy, in close coordination of people from diverse disciplines ie. urban designers, planners, architects, economists, environmentalists etc.My role is to work in an integrated team and derive analytical rationalisation to projects, and develop conceptual ideas to evolve design of the same. I have worked with people from multiple nationalities, having their experiences around the world - both academically and professionally. My interest lies in landscape design, urban design, ecology restoration and environmental planning. As a designer I am also involved in creating artwork from recycling materials. I have participated in several design competitions and workshops, written articles for Indian Society of Landscape Architects. Recently I received an EGIS Foundation award (link here) for winning a competition in Paris organised by Paris metropole in a 6-month project which culminated in a 4 week workshop organised by Les Ateliers.I was involved in bringing up an art installation titled PROJECT LETTERBOX. This initiative intended to revive the lost art of writting letters.I am an avid traveler and enthusiast photographer.
