I am a skilled professional from XLRI Jamshedhpur. Starting my career in Human Resources seemed like a mismatch at first given that my first management degree was in marketing and I spent the initial 4 years of my career in sales with HCL Infosystems. It was during my maternity break in 2002 when I was freelancing as a recruiter that I immediately recognized the opportunity HR presented, to understand the most important asset of any organization; the people. I landed on a gold mine when I got through XLRI Jamshedhpur and completed the program by coming 5th in a batch of 115 people. Today human beings are being replaced by technology, but to manage it all we need people on board which I can do by hiring top talent. I have experience in the whole recruitment cycle, talent acquisition, client management and career development. With my ability to build strong relationships, great communication skills, passion for candidate care and years of experience in sourcing, I succeed in attracting and hiring great talent. At the end of the day, my job involves people, who are complicated and have millions of things going on at the same time. I believe that recruiting is at its best when the candidate experience is made the first priority. That, to me, means transparency and partnership.Over the years I have been privileged to harness diverse views and opinions to create solutions for productivity. My previous work experience and understanding of different industries has helped me to roll out strategies and policies for better team work. I hope to use this varied exposure to add value. I'm obsessed with staying organized and making everyone's life easier.
