My role at Energy Australia involves around developing and supporting multiple applications across Digital domain. I was primarily focused on the development of new Demand Response platform introduced to the business. The aim of this project is to reduce the demand of electricity during peak hours in order to reduce load in grid and also to avoid buying electricity at peak prices due to huge demand.

My role at NAB has involved me being part of a new development team focused on the new Document Generation platform being introduced to the business. The aim of this project is to consolidate and unify all document generation for the business for all batch (print) and on-demand digital documents.My role has involved me playing numerous roles:• Assisting with application architecture and design for a cloud based micro-services (7+) solution.• Assisting DevOps in streamlining the CI/CD processes suited to the new implementation.• Liaising with the document generation and print vendors to assure the demands of the business will be met.• Work in a small team of developers (2+) and co-ordinate with testers (2+) to implement as per requirements and need.• Assist/Run agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, Stand Ups and Retrospectives).• Code / Develop microservices (Java/Spring/SpringBoot/SpringBatch/AWS-SDK).• Assist with infrastructure build (Cloud/AWS)

Accountable for requirement gathering and development of standalone Enterprise scheduler implemented on WAS scheduler and its support activities their after. Apart from development activities, was also involved for requirement management, stakeholder management, development of reports, vendor and deployment management activities for New Payments Platform (NPP) implementation at National Australia Bank. The role also demanded co-ordination between different internal stakeholders, vendors and client contacts.Also handled go-live activities, post-production support of NPP.

Senior System Engineer, responsible for design and development of new requirement and coordinating with onsite team and Client for business clarification on the user stories defined in the sprints. Took the ownership of maintaining code quality while implementing different design patterns like factory pattern, Singleton etc. which helped a lot in coming sprints in terms of code reusability and refactoring needed to implement the new requirements. Coordinating with other teams members in imparting the knowledge about new design and technology implemented in the project. Worked at on-site which helped gain more knowledge about the production environment and work culture to face client directly and manage the offshore team.
