Electronic Data Interchange Developer
Current* Proactively monitor translation and communication server performance, swiftly resolving issues to ensure seamless operations. Document all production issues and resolutions following departmental standard practices, enhancing system reliability and transparency.* Assist with time-sensitive projects and after-hours tasks as assigned by EDI managers and developers, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Work closely with team members to maintain a cohesive and coordinated approach to EDI support.* Successfully onboard new trading partners onto the EDI communication platform, establish electronic communications with customers, financial institutions, and external offices, and integrate new EDI customers to support business needs.* Map EDI data to database tables and coordinate with Oracle programmers to facilitate data transfer elements. Utilize Sterling Integrator and Sterling Mapper to handle complex mappings and ensure accurate data exchange, including managing X12, flat files, and XML formats.* Demonstrate proficiency in Sterling Integrator Basic Administration, including managing translation errors, data lookup, code lists, document creation, envelopes, and business processes. Utilize Linux OS and command line navigation for efficient system management, and effectively handle critical issues through the ticketing system and project management system.
