Preet joined Serko to assist in its move from the dominant player in AsiaPac leader to the world leader in Business Travel, by helping its engineering meet the challenge. Preet has been involved in a number of initiatives from observability to platform modernisation, all with the emphasis on accelerating delivery and devolving ownership down to the people at the coal face! Preet works to break down silos and increase collaboration across Serko to enable engineers to perform at their best. Depending on the day this could be training, mentoring, providing technical direction, or just plain old fashioned hands-on keyboard to solve gnarly problems in large distributed complex SaaS systems. Preet was recruited to build a team to take charge of development of Software of Excellence International’s enterprise dental health care product SOEL Health. Used by many large organisations within the United Kingdom’s NHS and Eire’s Health Service Executive, and working with stakeholders in the Europe and Asia Pacific he helped put the product back on the company’s roadmap with regular releases using an agile sprint methodology. This entailed working through the existing product back log to fix long standing complex issues and at the same time progressing new features from requirements, through to deployment across many large sites. With the team currently at a compliment of 6 developers and a product owner they work to deliver new features for regulatory compliance and to help exploit further revenue streams. As part of the development management team, Preet has helped to drive new technologies and processes (Agile, TFS, git, unit testing, and automation amongst others). As a lead Preet still codes every day, is a mentor to other developers and wherever possible, assists the QA manager drive higher quality in the company’s products, all while working with the product owner to plan and deliver features used by hundreds of end users every day.

Iridium Technology is a world leader in innovative consulting and implementation of business intelligence. We are "living and breathing" business intelligence and cube-based analytics for firms every hour of every day. It is our passion, and our mission. As member number 3 of the Iridium team, Preet consulted on BI projects for professional services firms in all regions but especially in North America and APAC. His key focus was engineering solutions using the next generation BI products developed by Iridium technology, using C#, .Net, SQL, SSRS/SSAS/SSIS and other Microsoft technologies. He has been member of Iridium’s Infrastructure and New Technologies Team, helping to ensure quality development methodologies and keeping Iridium fully versed on the latest technologies.

Preet was a key member of the ADERANT Framework Team – participating in the design and development of an advanced Microsoft .Net enterprise workflow application framework that enabled ADERANT to create a common base for all future application development and delivery. The workflow framework was developed from .Net 1.0 to .Net 4.0. Due to the advanced nature of the applications and the required customer customizations, large sections of the framework were developed using advanced DSL and modeling tools. Once the workflow framework was released, Preet was actively involved in supporting client implementations around the globe. His keen skills and great attitude in supporting clients in their rollout of this leading edge ADERANT offering were widely acknowledged and appreciated.

Consultant based in the UK, focused on developing business solutions utilizing the latest Microsoft Tools and Technologies. Helped a number of UK and International clients implement multi-tier architectures. Worked in a wide range of industries including banking, utilities, defense, and gaming. Built a large client base of repeat customers. A number of these assignments involved implementing development practices, quality control procedures, and training customer employees to use the latest industry methodologies. Performed in a wide range of industries and customers, different environments (formal to casual, small firms to global firms) and for many different stakeholders such as front office trading desks, military personnel, technical teams, and business users.Clients included Ace Overseas Global Insurance, UK Ministry of Defence, Hire Shop, Thales (Aerospace), Accenture, Abet, Applied Materials, UBS, Reuters, Citibank, Sema, Dovetail, Ocean Technical Systems.

Designed and built a next generation real-time telecommunications logging and analysis software using the (then) new Windows NT Operating System. Part of the team that built a similar system to COM before Microsoft released their system.

While still in the final year of university, Preet was hired on the bank's fast track graduate management stream. He was one of only 20 chosen from all the 1000s of graduates that year. His primary achievement was the implementation of a mainframe production source control system.

This position was carried out while studying for a Bachelor of Science degree. At this assignment Preet first learned and programmed in the area that retains his passion to this day - automation.
