As an Threat Analyst at Barracuda, I am dedicated to safeguarding organizations from email-borne threats and data breaches. I work alongside a talented team of Threat Analysts, where we specialize in analyzing and mitigating malicious traffic and content to ensure our customers remain secure in a constantly evolving threat landscape.In my role, I focus on:Analyzing and identifying patterns in cyberattacks and contributing to our threat intelligence database.Investigating HTTP queries, DNS data, domains, and malware to differentiate between legitimate, malicious, or compromised content.Collaborating with a team of experts to share insights and enhance our collective threat analysis capabilities.Utilizing my foundational knowledge in email protocols (SMTP, POP3, IMAP) and networking (IP, DNS, HTTP) to identify and address sophisticated email attacks like spamming, phishing, malware, and spear phishing.With a strong commitment to ethics, continuous learning, and adapting to a rapidly changing environment, I strive to stay at the forefront of email security and threat intelligence.
