At Sai Life Sciences, I am responsible for the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for various therapeutic areas, using different processes and equipment. I monitor and operate the plants through DCS, HMI, and manually, ensuring the compliance with cGMP and HSE standards. I also maintain the documentation and data records of each batch manufactured with data integrity, and participate in the operational excellence team to reduce the cycle time and increase the productivity. With over 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, I have developed expertise in handling critical stages, such as thionyl chloride addition, batch size increment, process optimization, and cycle time reduction. I have successfully contributed to the quality and efficiency of the products, as well as the safety and sustainability of the operations. I hold a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Annamalai University, and I am proficient in creating, reading, and understanding P&ID, heat and mass balances, scale up, equipment qualification, and process validation. I am motivated by the opportunity to apply my skills and knowledge to deliver innovative and life-saving solutions for patients.
