Application Name : Nordic International Leasing System NiLS is an online and batch IGF GOLD application which handles the IBM Global Finance'sEMEA (Europe, Middle East and South Africa) leasing and loan business. As of now theapplication is installed in 19 countries having around 500 users worldwide. Theapplication has more than 10,000 function points.The application has around 500 tables for each country spanned in 7 databases. Totalprograms in NiLS are around 1500.Around 1500 QMF report queries, procedures and forms arethere for report generation especially for reconciliation of accounting. 32 programs inPL/1 specifically made for doing the complex calculation like calculating IRRs on thebasis of Regular Falsi method.200 REXX programs for automatic triggering of jobs viaonline, connection from mainframe to windows via MQ Series for letter printing and toolNiLSVedl for the systematic promotion and binding of programs in test and production.The application handles almost all the phases of Lease, Loan and Remarketing, startingfrom registration of contracts to the day to day business and until the end of contractperiod. Business wise application has Accounting and Billing modules to take care of IBMaccounting to generating invoices to customers.
