I am Prem Kumar Gupta, an aspiring data scientist currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Data Science and Applications at IIT Madras. My journey is fueled by a passion for leveraging data to solve complex problems and an emerging interest in generative AI.Throughout my academic career, I have developed a strong foundation in data science, gaining proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn. I’ve actively applied these skills to real-world projects, such as developing a GenAI-Enhanced Learning Portal that integrated AI-driven functionalities to enhance educational experiences, and a Grocery Store App that improved user and admin interfaces and functionalities.My technical skills extend to various programming languages and frameworks, including Flask, Django, Vue.js, and Bootstrap, and I am adept with data visualization tools like Matplotlib and Seaborn. My experience spans developing data-driven applications and predictive models, where I’ve successfully implemented machine learning algorithms to achieve significant outcomes, such as predicting food ratings with high accuracy.Beyond academics, I have actively participated in leadership and community service. As the Deputy Secretary of Gir House at IIT Madras, I have honed my leadership skills, and my volunteer work with the Society for Preservation of Healthy Environment, Ecology & Heritage of Agra (SPHEEHA) reflects my commitment to making a positive societal impact.I am eager to connect with professionals who share a passion for data-driven innovation and solving real-world challenges.
