For as long as I can remember, I've always had a passion for taking things apart, seeing how they work, and trying to put them back together. Growing up, this got me in as much trouble as it did help me solve issues. With an increasingly technological world, I've been able to put this passion to work on both the hardware and software side of computers. On the hardware side of computing, I've spent time learning about and building my own computers. On the software side, I've been learning multiple high-level programming languages, such as c/c++, bash, python, and ruby. One of the other passions in my life has always been to help the needy and less fortunate. As a child I organized and led fundraisers to support people affected by natural disasters. It never felt like enough, so my parents agreed to let us take in and raise dogs that had been abused. Years ago I was given the opportunity to work on a ranch that would allow me to raise and take care of both horses and dogs. I took the chance and stayed working there as a veterinary technician for almost five years. During my stint at the ranch, I saved the lives of animals while keeping a cool head under pressure and ensuring that no mistakes were made in their treatment and care. The ranch was successful enough that the owners were able to sell the ranch and retire, while I was able to go pursue higher education in the field of engineering.I've worked in numerous different positions in my years of work such as a manager in a retail setting, a veterinary technician on a ranch, to a computer troubleshooting and support role. I'm as at home surrounded by troubleshooting complex computer issues as I am working a field and handling horses. I now spend my time learning as much as I can about technology, while also doing whatever I can to continue helping those in need, regardless of how many legs they have.
