As an aspiring investment banker with a passion for mathematics, statistics, and economics, I have chosen to pursue a diploma in banking and finance at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, where I will gain a solid foundation in business fundamentals as well as various finance skills. In the future, I also hope to enrol in a university so I can further build upon the knowledge I have acquired during my polytechnic years. Moreover, my experience volunteering with Sales Symphony has allowed me to develop my sales skills and apply them in a practical setting, providing me with valuable insights into building relationships and understanding the needs of clients.Outside of my academic pursuits, I enjoy exploring my creative side through sketching and writing. These activities have given me the ability to communicate effectively and think critically, while also providing a great outlet for stress. Furthemore, I have turned my writing hobby into a side hustle by editing and proofreading other people's work. Working with people from different backgrounds and industries has given me the opportunity to learn about new fields and perspectives, which has broadened my worldview and made me more open-minded.With my combination of analytical thinking, creative communication skills, and practical experience, I am confident in my ability to excel in the field of investment banking in the future and look forward to contributing my expertise to the industry.
