YIF is a £368 million fund created by the UK government to create, expand, and improve youth facilities, and services in England to drive positive outcomes for young people.› Responsible for the approval of £17M of YIF capital and revenue funding to date through detailed assessments of applications and creating comprehensive reports to the Grants Committee.› Detailed assessments of new grants, managing the process of collating information for a full application from across the ‘three pillars’ of the YIF: organisational resilience, construction/redevelopment project viability and supported activities for young people.› Undertake AML/KYC, eligibility and fraud checks.› Creation of grant and security documentation.› Drawdown and disbursement of funding in line with agreed schedules› Build and maintain strong working relationships with all potential and actual grantees within portfolio.› Collect and analyse financial records (management accounts, annual accounts and forecasts) and construction reports from grant beneficiaries to monitor project status and ensure organisational resilience throughout the capital project's lifespan and beyond.› Proactively identify emerging support needs and recommend methods to address these, including sources of external advice/support.
