I work with customers as partners to resolve complex business problems using computational intelligent techniques such as Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing. During workshops, I assist partners in designing and architecting these solutions. Thereafter, I develop with customers to produce a minimal viable product with a path to production. My role entails participating in the preliminary design and architecture workshops as well as developing initial computational intelligent models with partners. Additionally, my role requires enabling partners to continue refining and further developing the solution.

Main responsibilities entails design of advanced data analytic solutions for customers using Microsoft and open source technologies. This involves customer envisioning and scoping workshops, design of solutions for customer challenges, assistance in planning engagement approach, Statement of Work (SOW) review and presentation of proposed solutions to customer. Additionally, I also deliver Proof of Value (POV) solutions during the Pre-sales portion of projects. I have also worked as a Data Scientist at Microsoft. I have delivered machine learning models for batch as well as streaming solutions.I have worked on advanced data analytics projects in the financial, retail, transportation and tax revenue industries. Additionally, I was part of a team that developed a fraud detection solution that was presented at Microsoft Build 2017 and Microsoft Machine Learning and Data Science Conference (MLADS) 2017.

Main responsibilities entail design, implementation and deployment of advanced data analytic solutions. These solutions may include Big Data technologies, natural language processing or image processing techniques.I have developed solutions using Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Impala and Spark as well as machine learning algorithms for clustering, classification and predictions.The Big Data solutions often used Flume, Sqoop and Kafka to ingest data onto Hadoop HDFS. I have developed Spark programs in Python and Scala. I have also developed machine learning solutions in Python and R. I have also designed, developed and deployed Image processing solutions for object detection and classification. I have also developed advanced image processing solutions in Python. Majority of the projects have used the Agile SCRUM development methodology.

Main responsibilities entails conducting research for a financial institution into the use of Big Data as well as Machine Learning techniques in discovering insight into internal business data and Social Media. Responsibilities also entail assisting in developing Business Intelligent solutions to meet client needs. This requires designing and developing Data Warehouse and Microsoft SQL Analysis Service Solutions. Front-end reports are also designed and developed.

Main responsibilities entails conducting research and lecturing National Diploma Computer Systems engineering students. Currently, I have taught Database Principles, Microprocessors, Software Engineering, Operating Systems and Systems Analysis. This involved developing course content, setting and marking theory tests as well as practical evaluations. Additionally, it also entails setting and marking all examinations as well as projects for these courses. Research entails the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computational Intelligent (CI) techniques in bio-engineering, contact centers, financial markets and Social Media. Also, the research responsibilities involve supervising Master of Technology, Master of Science in Engineering and Phd students.

Main responsibilities entailed the monitoring of deployed Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, in relation to caller experience. Additionally, the work also entailed the training of Semantic Language Models (SLM) for speech recognition. These models were used to parse Natural Language speech to identify certain key phrases. The position also involved the development of BI solutions using SSIS and SSAS. Also, entailed identifying patterns within application logging information to determine caller behaviour trends.

Main responsibilities entailed the monitoring of deployed Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, in relation to caller experience. The position entailed the migration of the existing Management Information System (MIS) to a BI solution using SSIS and SSAS. Also, entailed identifying patterns within application logging information to determine caller behaviour trends. The work also involved the definition of new MIS reports using SSRS.

Main responsibilities entailed the monitoring of deployed IVR systems, in relation to caller experience. The position entailed creating and deploying a MIS to provide reporting capabilities for customers. I was also responsible for evaluating all IVR speech based applications to determine areas for improvement. This was achieved by conducting a Customer Improvement Process (CIP) on all IVR sites. This process evaluates the acoustic models deployed on IVR platforms as well as refining of voice grammars, call flows and dialogue scripts.

Software design, software implementation as well as software integration with hardware and firmware (VHDML). Other responsibilities entailed product testing, product deployment and product documentation. Software implementation entailed C++ and Java software development. Java was used to develop the GUI and C++ was used to read and set registers utilized by the VHDML firmware.
