At 18, I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey by founding my first startup, Vorak, in 2020. With no prior experience and armed only with knowledge from the internet, I dove into the restaurant logistics industry. Throughout this venture, I had the incredible opportunity to engage with amazing people, founders, and investors. Despite its eventual failure, this venture was my crash course in startup structure, market strategy, and product development.Upon moving to Canada, I spent a year in sales and consulting, where I deepened my understanding of refined my approach to market dynamics. This period was crucial in shaping my business acumen. In 2023, I launched my second startup, focusing on the consumer aspect of the airline industry. We meticulously planned the business structure and sales strategy, anticipating the challenge of building connections. However, the unforeseen challenge of partnering with the wrong technical co-founder was a significant and unexpected hurdle. This dual challenge of managing both the lack of connections and a mismatched partnership was overwhelming, given my experience at the time. Consequently, I decided to pause the project with the intention of revisiting and continuing it later.Undeterred, I dedicated months to further research and learning. In April 2024, I co-founded Prexi with David, an outstanding technical co-founder. Prexi is a dynamic platform designed to simplify how consumers discover, evaluate, and book service professionals like barbers, tattoo artists, and makeup artists. With innovative solutions and a customer-centric approach, we are committed to transforming the service industry. Armed with past experiences and a refined strategy, we are now making significant strides and building a robust venture together.I am passionate about innovation and always eager to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, investors, and thought leaders.
