Tengo más de 30 años de experiencia en I+D de Protección de cultivos a base de microorganismos. He trabajado con las empresas más importantes del sector a nivel mundial. Mi objetivo es dotar a las empresas de soluciones naturales para obtener una agricultura saludable y libre de plagas. ¿Cómo? A través de las últimas tecnologías basadas en Bacillus thuringiensis y Baculovirus.Soy fundador de BIOINSECTIS S.L., empresa especializada el diseño, desarrollo y producción de innovadores productos insecticidas de origen microbiano para el control de plagas de interés agroforestal.También soy Catedrático de la Universidad Pública de Navarra. Lidero el Grupo de Protección de Cultivos.Algunos hitos importantes que han marcado mi trayectoria: • Investigador Principal de proyectos de proyectos de investigación financiados por la CICYT, la Unión Europea y varias empresas del sector agrícola. • Editor de cuatro libros sobre bioinsecticidas microbianos y protección de cultivos. • Autor y coautor de más de cien publicaciones científicas y de cuatro patentes sobre bioinsecticidas microbianos.• Revisor científico “ad hoc” para varias revistas científicas internacionales, así como evaluador científico para la ANEP, la CNEAI, y varios organismos internacionales.I have more than 30 years of experience in R&D of Crop Protection based on microorganisms. I have worked with the most important companies in the sector worldwide. My goal is to provide companies with natural solutions to obtain healthy, pest-free agriculture. How? Through the latest technologies based on Bacillus thuringiensis and Baculovirus.I am founder of BIOINSECTIS S.L., a company specialized in the design, development and production of innovative insecticidal products of microbial origin for the control of pests of agroforestry interest.I am also a Professor at the Public University of Navarra. I lead the Crop Protection Group.Some important milestones that have marked my career: • Principal Investigator of research projects funded by CICYT, the European Union and several companies in the agricultural sector. • Editor of four books on microbial bioinsecticides and crop protection. • Author and co-author of more than one hundred scientific publications and four patents on microbial bioinsecticides.• “Ad hoc” scientific reviewer for several international scientific journals, as well as scientific evaluator for the ANEP, the CNEAI, and several international organizations.
