Bioinsectis is a spinoff company of the Public University of Navarra (UPNA). Founded in November 2016 by Professor Primitivo Caballero, its main activities comprise the design, development, and production of new insecticidal solutions of microbial origin (Bacillus thuringiensis and baculovirus) for the control of pests of agroforestry interest.
Its technology and know-how originate from the accumulated experience of the Crop Protection Group of the UPNA, led by Professor Primitivo Caballero, a recognized figure in the field for the past 30 years.
The company combines the scientific expertise of a research team, the fundamental pillar of its business model, with the current market demand. Ultimately, this provides value to the farmers in the form of new and competitive technologies that offer a broader protection for their crops.
