My roles are:• Coordination of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities in various regional distribution centers for our sales truck.• Coordination of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities in various regional distribution centers for our official vehicles.• Preparing preventive maintenance schedule for both official vehicles and sales trucks across the country.• Supervision of repair activities by in-house-technicians.• Following-up on repairs activities by service providers.• Following up on invoices with service providers.• Monitoring and reviewing of KPI’s.• Ensuring that all company vehicles are road worthy i.e. meet legal requirement.

Work Details• Introducing service packages and agreements to our clients.• Following-up with the service administrators and workshop on service orders for customers.• Draw up a weekly visitation plan in consultation with the service administration and present report.• Conduct periodic field visits to customer sites and inspections of customer’s truck and equipment and present technical reports.• Plan maintenance schedule for customers on service agreements and follow-up with customer for approval, payment and execution.• Liaise with the warehouse to meet the parts requirements of all customers with service agreements.• Preparing of weekly reports.

Work Details• Assigning of job to workshop staff.• Planning and repairing trucks and equipment to acceptable standards in accordance with best practices.• Performing preventive maintenance, more specially, developing and implementing a regularly scheduled work program for the purpose of maintaining satisfactory truck and equipment operation as well as preventing major problems.• Managing inventory to ensure that parts/materials necessary to conduct maintenance tasks are readily available i.e. forecasting of spare parts.• Keeping records on trucks and equipment.• Closing of jobs upon completion.• Visitation of clients to see how their vehicles are doing.• Providing technical advice to our client.• Preparing of weekly report.• Ensuring that the work done on client’s vehicle conforms to workshop standards.• Ensuring that all the problems reported by the client have been rectified.• Conducting technical inspection to ensure that the various components/systems are functioning appropriately before releasing the vehicle to the client
