An activist, advocate, and social justice visionary, I offer over 10 years of experience serving marginalized and underrepresented populations by developing, launching, and facilitating programs and initiatives. My work thus far has helped to improve the lives of individuals and families experiencing homelessness and mental health, substance abuse, and domestic violence issues. Daily, I collaborate with multidiscipline teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to enhance service offerings, ensure equal representation in policies, and breakdown barriers preventing equity and equality when it comes to social and economic justice. I promote the notion that education, community outreach, and the elimination of stigmas are critical in eradicating systemic, institutional, and architectural barriers that hinder economic growth.
