NYCDDC QED991, REI Services for the Installation of New Trunk Mains & Replacement of Distribution Water Mains, Queens, NY – The $62M project involved installation of more than seven miles of new distribution water mains and trunk mains and replacement of distribution water mains and combined and sanitary sewers (DIP, E.S.V.P., Concrete pipe). The upgrades also included new storm and sanitary sewers, as well as home connections, fire hydrants, manholes and catch basins. This included new curbs, pedestrian ramps, sidewalks, and road pavement. I shadowed the project for restoration of curb's, street, pedestrian ramp’s, and sidewalk's for months, to acquire the experience needed to understand and fulfill the procedure of its construction, alongside its regulations, requirements, and specifications. Familiarity with regulations and specifications regarding these activities gained during construction.

Cali, Valle Del Cauca

This $370M COP project involved the maintenance of urban roads and fixing potholes in both rigid and flexible concrete in the municipality of Jamundi, Colombia. As the assistant superintendent, I participated in controlling the project’s schedule for all activities, prepared quantity takeoffs for all materials and equipment, controlled contractor’s payment and budget, inspected construction tasks to ensure compliance with plans, specification and local regulations. I was introduced to project delivery metrics and how to ensure 100% goal fulfillment within budget and on schedule. Those projects were executed on strategic avenues and streets within the municipality of Jamundi, Valle del Cauca Colombia.

Valle Del Cauca Area, Colombia

As a civil engineer and project controller, I worked on multiple development projects for multifamily buildings, midsize apartments, and roads within different stages of construction, supporting the construction teams to review plans, programs, and schedules during the delivery. I also managed the progress report software to support resident engineers track and enter daily activity reports, I prepared weekly progress analysis, and evaluated the resident engineer's performance as well as project delivery performance.

As an intern I got familiar with efficiency measure on uploading critical project progress information to the software, maintaining the schedules, and analyzing important data to improve the Company software capabilities or schedule of the project.
