-Answer all incoming correspondence including phone, email, fax and in person- Proficient with Banner system and my degree works- Review and process financial aid forms- Organize, scan and file documents- Utilize a database system to complete follow up efforts- Project management- Data entry- Prepare Cal-Grants awards- Provide training to new employees- Experience with Webgrants student information system- Ability to process BOG Applications and appeals.- Knowledge of AB-540 requirements and residency requirements- Ability to effectively problem solve with students- Excellent knowledge of programs on campus and ability to refer students- Knowledge of guidelines and regulations pertaining to eligibility and awards.- Knowledge of financial programs such as: FAFSA/Dream Act, Work Study, BOG Waiver, Loans,Veterans Services, Book Vouchers, Emergency Assistance, Cal Grants, BOG waivers and scholarships- Assist with the Gavilan College Scholarship Ceremony- Handle independent assignments with ease- Work well in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, and team-oriented environment- Ability to work well with little to no supervision- Knowledge of programs on campus such as Calworks, EOPS, TRIO/MESA, Tutoring center and muchmore- Ability to refer students to proper program or resources
