While continuing my internship with the nonprofit organization, I was promoted as the manager of the organization's food pantry. I worked with coworkers to create a more organized and collaborative environment. I managed the ordering, inventory, scheduling, and record keeping of the pantry. Through this position I was able to develop and direct a new program that added to the organization's food program. I collaborated with a partner agency, Second Harvest, to create a new food budget, organize a new pantry space, and manage a group of new volunteers and staff members. I created events and marketing strategies to promote the program with clients and community partners. Additionally, I developed organizationally specific trainings and policies to combat bias and discrimination.

My roles within this position were to organize learning and play activities for children, and maintain a clean and well-organized environment for client happiness and safety. I administered medications, and I aided with mobility and independence. Lastly, I followed a care plan and routinely worked with the parents and case managers to improve upon their care plan.

As a front-line staff for a nonprofit organization, I worked with individuals experiencing housing and food insecurity. I conducted client interviews to gather information and update case records. Offered community resources and referrals to support client basic needs. I organized and secured case records and reports to maintain confidentiality of client treatment, and I served as client advocate and promoted ideas that aligned with client best interest.
