I graduated from Aurora University with a degree in Secondary Education and began my career as English teacher for eight years. I have experience teaching all high school grade levels. I have also been a credit recovery supervisor and have sponsored several clubs and activities throughout my teaching career. During my last year teaching I received a great opportunity to enroll full-time at Eastern Illinois University to pursue a master's degree in school counseling. I received a graduate assistantship and began teaching at the university. Seven months later Pana High School offered me the opportunity to be their counselor while I obtained my degree. I am currently the school counselor for Pana High School.
