I led research at Arthan, which included policy whitepapers and reports, to inform decisions and advocacy efforts. Here, I conducted primary research with key stakeholders and then analysed quantitative and qualitative research to derive insights and support in authoring them into reports. I also delved into the Organizational Development initiatives of the organisation by conducting extensive secondary research on the issues being dug up by our studies, leading client engagement for assigned projects. I supported the leadership with project execution and management of Arthan to ensure seamless operations across various work verticals like research, platform, training, communication, workshops and events, stakeholder outreach and engagement.This also included supporting outreach strategies and creating partnerships to increase awareness among target communities (women jobseekers, aspirants for leadership positions and social impact organisations wanting to adopt gender equitable, institutional approaches).

At Climate Asia, my key responsibilities included conducting market research, designing a fellowship called the ‘Climate Ambassadors Summer Programme’, and constructing a policy memo on "How to decarbonise the Indian steel sector." This involved conducting 12 key stakeholder interviews with government and industry leaders to gather insights and information. Additionally, I contributed to informing future policy efforts by organising two tri-sector convenings that engaged government, industry, and civil society stakeholders. I also played a crucial role in a water security project. I designed program archetypes by thoroughly investigating existing water schemes and conducting key stakeholder interviews with civil society organisations.

In my role as a Youth Mobilisation Associate at Atypical Dikkatein, an Oxfam and Civic Asia-funded programme, I spearheaded initiatives to unite young, queer and disabled individuals into a robust youth network. My responsibilities were diverse, including creating outreach materials, organising virtual events and fostering inclusive participation. I developed strategies to engage this demographic, co-organise consultations and conferences, and work closely with stakeholders to amplify our policy advocacy. Volunteer management, partnership cultivation and meticulous data management were also central to my role, ensuring the initiative’s message was communicated and its impact amplified.

I have authored six blog posts as part of the Behavioural Insights for Innovative Policy (BIIP) programme. Additionally, I collaborated with the CSBC Visibility Team to create and finalise infographics and visuals to enhance the blog posts, making them more engaging and informative. Finally, I worked closely with the Visibility Team to guarantee that the blogs met all the criteria for publication-ready, including formatting, SEO optimisation, and overall quality.

As a participant at the One Future Fellowship, I embraced a multi-faceted role encompassing leadership development and capacity building. I engaged in a rigorous curriculum focused on learning community coaching and action. My responsibilities included co-leading learning sessions, community organising, narrative building and impact assessment. I also honed my skills in developing and implementing initiatives, taking them from conceptualisation to execution. This fellowship polished my ability to be a better feminist leader in creating equitable and inclusive communities.

As a Behavioural Insights for Policy Fellow launched by the Behavioural Insights Unit at NITI Aayog vertical at the Centre for Social and Behaviour Change (CSBC), I supported the feedback analysis and communication activities for the Behavioural Insights for Innovative Policy programme at CSBC. I captured key insights from each session of the BIIP programme. The objective of the blog post was to communicate key lessons/insights of the class to a policy audience with simple and easy-to-understand language and examples. I analysed feedback data received after each session and summarised the critical insights. The summary report helped the session's instructors as inputs for the next version.I also conducted the pre-diagnosis of Complementary Feeding and Iron supplementation for pregnant women in India, where I identified all central and state GoI schemes that address the indicators, directly or indirectly. I collated scheme guidelines, scheme budget for Behaviour Change activities / IEC activities, administrative Funds and IEC Guidelines. I was responsible for drawing the project map journeys using Miro, clearly highlighting the chronological steps that various actors take during the life cycle of the project/scheme. The last step was to identify various potential behavioural barriers in policy and validate the hypothesis through problem-solving.

I promoted diverse and marginalised voices within the club's activities and leadership. When selecting literature and organising events, I ensured an intersectional perspective where gender, class, caste and disability would converge to focus robust discussions around equity and justice. During inter-university events, I encouraged networking and collaboration with other student organisations, including women's and gender studies groups. During the end of my tenure, I created the club's first leadership policy to include diverse gender representation to avoid power imbalances in leadership roles.

As a policy research intern under my university professor, I supported the research and analysis efforts in a PhD thesis, ‘Review of Intergovernmental transfers in northeastern states of India’. This included conducting extensive research on policy-related topics, examining legislation and regulations, and analysing data and statistics to identify trends and challenges. I developed policy recommendations, drafted reports and briefs, and summarised relevant academic literature and government reports. The study's findings exposed how inequality is often fostered by the government's deliberate inactions and apathy towards North-Eastern India.

I worked with my professor at K.R. Mangalam University to design her initiative, WellWeLive’s social media strategy. WellWeLive is an initiative raising awareness against ovarian cancer and advocating for the emotional well-being of cancer survivors. This ‘silent killer’ causes no symptoms until it has advanced too far for successful treatment, and there is little to no awareness among women around it. I built shared networks of affected women and survivors to cease misinformation and authenticate emotional collaboration.

This was my first formal internship, where I worked in the founding team of a travel company. My primary responsibility included creating and planning marketing strategies for social media platforms to promote the company's safe travel services for women. I also generated and organised content for its website to ensure the retention of the target demographic, i.e., Indian female solo travellers.
