My interest lies in the area of South Asian Studies and Indian Literatures. I specialise in interdisciplinary research that incorporates Cultural Studies, Folklore Studies, Study of Religion, and Ecocriticism. My doctoral research focuses on the various representations of the river Ganga across mythology, fiction and folklore.
